Abstract:
In recent years,the coal-electricity base of the eastern grassland,which locates at the China’s ecological se- curity zone “two screens and three belts”,has emerged some ecological environment problems such as landscape frag- mentation,grassland degradation,soil erosion and degradation of soils. This paper aims to explore how to use landscape ecology and restoration ecological principles to adjust landscape composition and spatial pattern through restoration, creation or reorganization,so as to realize ecological restoration and maintain the stability of the regional ecosystem of grassland coal-electricity base. Therefore,the ecosystem structure and its ecological function restoration are further em- phasized,rather than the traditional single restoration method,such as soil reconstruction and vegetation reconstruc- tion. The restoration of landscape ecology is the key way to construct the ecological security pattern of coal-electricity base. In this paper,the authors analyzed the current research on landscape ecology in mining area. Taking Shengli min- ing area and Baorixile mining area as examples,the main landscape ecological problems induced by the large-scale landform and land use change were analyzed by the way of field investigation,remote sensing and numerical modeling. Therefore,the authors put forward several key technical strategies for the landscape ecological restoration of grassland coal-electricity base,and some designed and application cases of the landscape ecology restoration for this area,which could be used as guidance for the other open pit mining landscape ecology restoration. The main strategies include:① The whole control of landscape ecological restoration,and the identification and construction strategies of key land- scape components such as ecological source and green infrastructure network and reshaped landscape to three-dimen- sional optimize the landscape ecological pattern;② Based on the analysis of water and soil material flow pathway in large heterogeneous soil dump,the strategy of land and soil resources control system in dump soil field is constructed for soil erosion and geologic stability control;③ The whole life cycle near the natural landform reshaping strategy is proposed by following the morphological characteristics of the surrounding natural mountain slopes to guide the near natural remodeling of the dump site to enhance the fusion degree with the natural landscape and surface water system.
