Characteristics of enhanced separation of mine gas with oil-water emulsion

  • In order to investigate the separation characteristics of gas hydrate in oil-water emulsion system, this paper studied the influence of oil-water volume ratios and driving forces on the growth rate and CH4 recovery of gas hydrate under the condition of 2 ℃ by the high pressure stir visual hydrate separation experiment combined with the gas chro- matograph, and calculated the gas consumption, hydrate generation volume, the conversion rate of water. The results show that the hydrate slurry has a good liquidity in oil-water emulsion system. The average growth rate of gas hydrate and the CH4 recovery in the oil-water volume ratio 1 ∶ 1 system are better than the 7 ∶ 3 system under the conditions of same temperature and pressure, but the hydrate slurry liquidity is much better with the 7 ∶ 3 system. The average growth rate, gas consumption, hydrate generation volume and the conversion rate of water increase with driving force. In the system of oil-water volume ratio 1 ∶ 1,the CH4 recovery and separation factor increase at the beginning and then decrease with the increase of driving force, the biggest CH4 recovery is 24. 36% when the driving force is at 3. 0 MPa (the pressure is 7. 78 MPa).
