Research on force detection system of shearer sliding boots based on multi-sensor

  • The working conditions of a shearer are normally harsh during the actual mining operation. As an important part connecting the shearer and the scraper conveyor, the sliding shoes are easily damaged under the severe nonlinear impact load, directly affecting the working efficiency of the shearer and reducing the coal mine production efficiency. In order to study the mechanical characteristics of the shearer’s sliding shoes under the miter cutting condition, this pa- per took the MG500 / 1130-WD electric haulage shearer as the research object, and constructed the space mechanics model of the shearer under the miter cutting condition. According to the coal rock cutting theory, combined with the properties of coal and the structural parameters of the shearer, the cutting load of the shearer drums and the contact load of the sliding shoes were calculated using Matlab. A multi-sensor force detection system for shearer’ s sliding boots based on smooth shoe pin sensor, guide shoe pin shaft sensor and guide shoe pin tension sensor was proposed, and the experiment was conducted on the experiment platform of the National Energy Coal Mining Machinery Equip- ment R&D Test Center. The experimental result showed that during the working process of the shearer, the force of the same type of sliding shoes were basically the same, the load on the rear sliding shoe was slightly larger than the load on the front sliding shoe, the supporting force of the smoothing shoe was greater than that of the guiding sliding shoe, and the axial load of the guiding sliding shoe was significantly greater than the vertical load. During the experiment, the maximum load of the sliding shoes appeared in the oblique cutting process, which was affected by the position of the scraper conveyor and the falling coal. The experimental values were greater than the theoretical value. The 3D models of the sliding shoe were built by Solidworks, and the field experimental data was imported into ANSYS for the finite el- ement simulation analysis. The stress and displacement nephograms of the shearer’s sliding shoes under maximum ob- lique shear load were obtained, which provided the basis for the optimization of the sliding shoe structure.
